Stay in Beds – independently run accommodation
We are a group founded in the 1980s. We offer independently run accommodation in Beds and near Olney. Our rentals are in the countryside but near good transport links.
There is a range of accommodation from bed and breakfast to self-catering.
We are a friendly bunch. All of us have roots in the local area. We are happy to help if you need us. If not – we leave you in peace to enjoy this lovely piece of England.
Local attractions include Woburn Abbey with its deer park and safari park. Wrest Park with newly restored gardens and the newly created Forest of Marsden Vale.
Bedfordshire had many airforce bases during the second World War. Glen Miller flew out of Twinwoods aerodrome near Bedford on the day his plane disappeared. There is now a museum at Twinwoods and a yearly festival. Bletchley Park is where the code breakers worked on the enigma machine and is well worth a visit and is only just a short drive from Milton Keynes. If you enjoy old airplanes then the Shuttleworth Collection is a good place to visit.
Santa Pod in the north of the county is a race track where drag racing takes place as well as other events such as the VW festival.
When you stay with us you can visit London, Oxford and Cambridge for the day.
